Apostile Translations from issuing authority

I am getting conflicting information. We are applying IR-1 from country of Georgia.

The issuing authority of all certified/original documents translates and apostillizes documents and on the apostile it states name of translator and that it is "Certified" from "Translator of Apostille and Legalization Division of the Public Service Development Agency"

Will this work for NVC and U.S. Consulate? Anyone ever submitted this type and work for them?

It does not read "Translator is competent and translation is accurate" or notarized.

In Georgia this is the highest level of translation and certification. Thanks

Hi,

I am applying for AOS from F1 to GC. I submitted a copy of my birth certificate, English translation and apostille. The apostille is a document that certifies the authenticity of a document issued by a country that was part of the Hague Convention. Georgia and the US are Hague countries, so I would say that you should be fine if you provided those documents.

Good luck on your process,
