I recently applied (January) to remove the conditions of my 2 year green card as it expires in March 2014. I have already received my letter extending it for a year and completed my biometrics. My husband's work is transferring him overseas and we will be leaving in April (probably before I will receive my 10 year green card). Since we may be out of the country for more than 12 months, can I file for a re-entry permit so I won't have any issues coming back?
