Coming to America on a K1 and a CR1

I remember reading something somewhere about there being certain stopovers that K1 and CR1 holders should not pass through on entry to the US, and i vaguely remember Canada being mentioned. Since my wife (CR1) and her cousin (K1) will be entering the country this year, could anyone give me some direction?

I think some countries are okay to transit through. I would just use PAL from Manila to the west coast or Hawaii. Probably the most expensive way though.

Not many people answered on this. Her cousin flew on PAL and the experience was just horrible. Can anyone tell me if Korean Air (Manila/Seoul/Las Vegas) is an option that would not incur Visa issues?

When I researched for fun to see if we would have problems if we wanted to stop in south Korea for a day or two, I found that it would be OK. As long as you have a visa to the us, Filipinos can stay in Korea like 15 days. Nothing needed for transit. Thats looking at manila - seoul - Chicago. You should have no issues.
