My wife and I are staying here in Guam. She came from the Philippines via K-1 Visa. We are planning to visit US mainland soon. Will she have a problem going to US mainland and returning to Guam? We haven't done AOS yet so she don't have AP nor Greencard.

Guam is a U.S. territory so there is no issue. Of course your new wife will still have to carry her passport, but you do not pass through immigration only customs.

Have a great trip

As far as I know, it will only be a domestic flight, so there should be no problem. :)

Just curious, how does her visa look like? Does it have a "United states of America" header?

Is this really true? Russians have visa-free entry to Guam, if I am not mistaken. How do they prevent Russians without US visas from entering the US via Guam without an immigration check and passport control? My fiancé had to show a US passport to fly from Guam to San Francisco just this January 2014.

Check my timeline for K-1 visa & AOS details

Conditional Permanent Resident: 16 September 2014

Conditional GC Expires: 16 September 2016

ROC Journey (CA Service Center)

2016-Sep-14: I-751 form, check, supporting docs sent USPS Priority Express

2016-Sep-15: ROC application received & signed for by Lakelieh

2016-Sep-15: NOA receipt date

2016-Sep-19: $590 check cashed by USCIS

2016-Sep-20: NOA/ 1-year extension letter received in mail

2018-Feb-26: ROC case transferred to local office

2018-Mar-06: ROC approved via USCIS website (WAC status check)

Yup Guam is a U.S. territory, anyone born in Guam is a U.S. citizen.

Yup Russians can enter Guam without a visa, but they won't be allowed in the USA proper.

Did your fiance have a green card at the time? CBP required my wife to have her passport just traveling from Tombstone AZ to Tucson AZ until she got her green card.

Perhaps it's due to border patrol having authority at the border and 100 miles from the border, if I'm not mistaken.

My fiancé is a natural born US citizen yet had to show a US passport when traveling from Guam to San Francisco. This was just last January 2014.

I have never traveled to Guam so it's very possible CBP has rules regarding traveling with a passport even for USC. Good to know.

My wife was required to travel with her passport no matter where she traveled in the USA until she had her green card, at least that is what CBP told us.

Make sure you go to the US Mainland and back via Hawaii. Do not transit through Japan or your fiance will have a problem since she's already had her one POE.

Guam handled in a unique way. As a POE, all passengers from international originating flights must clear US Immigrations. However, before proceeding onto a flight to Hawaii passengers actually clear a US Immigration check at the gate before boarding. So Yes, the passport is needed. For USCs, I've heard they will allow an ID and a BC but I can't confirm this.

No pre-boarding US Immigration at the gate for international destinations. Just the Hawaii flight.
