My wife's K-1 visa expires on the 17th.

She does not have a copy of her immunization records.

I started the papers for AOS only to discover that she needs to see a civil surgeon, (maybe) get some shots, and then send the results of that (I-693A) in with the AOS packet.

Here are the questions:

Do we have to file for AOS before her K-1 visa runs out on the 17th?

How do we find out what shots she's had/needs?

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

No,

You need to marry within the 90 days of the I-94, many people file for AOS quite some time after the visa and I-94 expires, for many reasons, like they are waiting for a copy of marriage certificate, medical, taxes, ect.

Also consider, a person waits until a few days before the visa expires to get things in order back home, the travels to the USA, a few days later the visa expires, this is not a problem, the expiration date on the visa is the date that the fiance needs to enter the country by, nothing more.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

She should have gotten something called the DS 3025 when she had her medical. This is her immunization record, you take that to the civil surgeon and they transfer it to the I-693A (basically the same thing, just in the format USCIS likes it I guess) and the civil surgeon can see from the DS 3025 what shots she's had and what ones she may need.

Edited to say if she didn't get that form she may be able to get it faxed from her consulate, but I'm not sure about that. I know other members have more experience with this than me so they can probably help out with what to do if she doesn't have it.
