Hi, I am finally filling for AOS through my USC wife. I am Adjusting from the VWP....I have been here 9 years and married to my wife for 7 of those. We hadn't filed in the past due to the inconsistency of how the AOS were being adjudicated.

We mailed in our package I-485, I-130 and I-765 on the 19th. My concern is this, where it asks for last 5 years employment history and occupation we put none which is the truth as I have been a stay at home husband (don't judge) .

I've been reading stories and have seen that USCIS view being a homemaker or househusband / housewife as employment .....have I screwed up my application ? Should I send a letter of explanation ?

Please advise if you can, Thanks

I was more worried about the occupation and employment history on the I485 ... I listed occupation and employment history as none as I haven't been employed due to being a househusband and not being able to work.

I was told that they homemakers , househusbands and house wife's are viewed as being a form of employment bu USCIS and it had me worried I'd messed up
