Hello fellow VJ's. Just trying to get some idea on how long folks had to wait to get their fiancé visa approved, My fiancé & her son had their interviews on, 03, Feb. 2014. At that time the interviewing officer requested new NBI certificates as well CENOMAR certificates. That the embassy would pick them up on, 07, Feb. 2014. And make a decision about issuing visas. We are both wondering how long you fiancé had to wait till they were issued? Its been 3 weeks since their interview tomorrow & end of the week since embassy was going to pick up the paper work. Were almost to the finish line now & are getting antsy to be finished. We haven't been face to face for so long. Any help would be appreciated. Maraming salamat in advance.

You may need to check again with the Embassy. I doubt they will go pick up the NBI and CENOMAR. You may need to pick them up and deliver to the Embassy. When we were having our interview everyone missing something had to provide it to the Embassy.

What does your CEAC status say? Have you seen it change over the course of waiting? Check your status on CEAC here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

I would try calling USEM and inquire that they have gotten the documents. If not, you need to get them and send them on to USEM.

Contact phone numbers etc for USEM can be found here: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwhnv10.html

Good luck.

Most times it take a couple weeks after the embassy receives the requested documents before you see activity on CEAC tracking. There were a couple holidays mixed in over the last couple weeks also... just a little more patience.

You may need to check again with the Embassy. I doubt they will go pick up the NBI and CENOMAR. You may need to pick them up and deliver to the Embassy. When we were having our interview everyone missing something had to provide it to the Embassy.

Yes the embassy arranges to have the documents delivered directly to the embassy in some cases. Other times the applicant need only deliver them to 2GO and then 2GO delivers them to the embassy.
