My fiance's interview is coming up... on March 10, 2014... about 2 weeks away! I have already sent him my 2011 and 2012 W2s, 1040s, and IRS transcripts.

However, for 2013, I only have my W2 so far. I have not filed 1040 yet because I am waiting for an amended W2.

If my amended W2 does not come before his interview date, is it okay if he only brings the current 2013 W2 that I have, plus the 2011 and 2013 forms (1040s and W2s)?

I know I can file this incorrect W2 now, but if I do so, I am going to have to amend my 1040 also. It's just quite a hassle, so I am thinking of putting it off until I get the corrected W2. =(

Hope to get replies from anyone who has been recently interviewed at the US Embassy in Manila. Thanks!

Only the most recent tax return and W-2 are required at this time that is 2012. 2013 won't be required until after 15 April.

Your fiance will only need the 2012 tax return and W-2, embassy will not want the 2011 tax return and W-2 and most of the time will refuse to take it if your fiance tried to give it to them.

Can I ask a follow up question regarding the topic? I just reviewed my fiance's 1040, does it need to have his signature?
