Ok. My fiancé and I just recently got our MNL visa #.

We still have to set an interview date (it was the weekend and my fiancé will pay on mon)

My question is....

can my fiancé still have the medical done even though we haven't scheduled an interview date yet? (Also, dates may not open up for a little bit)

We will schedule for whatever date is available and then change it to an earlier date when it pops up. Just wanna have the medical done so that if an earlier date is available, all the medical results will already be at USEM.

It will be required she completes the Medical before the interview. get the Exam out of the way and the Medical is good for 6 months from that date. There is ample time after that and or ASAP a spot is open for the interview.

She can already have her medical ,no appointment needed ) since she already has her mcn. She will just have to print nvc email with case number in it instead of appointment letter. But of course you have to consider that medical expiry is tied up with the expiration of visa. Also, if your fiance already has her interview schedule then reschedule it, you must consider that rescheduling can be done only twice without refee of visa

Did you get a letter or email from NVC with the MNL # on it? If yes bring two copies of that to SLEC and you are good to go without having the interview scheduled.. St. Luke's asks for the NVC letter or the interview confirmation letter.

If you do not have a letter/email from NVC there is info in my link for getting an email from NVC with the MNL # in it.

Hank,

Seriously, you are awesome!

I got our MNL # when I called up NVC this past friday afternoon. They asked me for my email but haven't sent anything yet.

I guess I will check out that section of your link to see what the procedure is.

Would there be a problem if I take my medical this March when my scheduled interview is May 8? ( I will grab an earlier slot if it hope s)

Not a problem, but do remember that you visa will only have about 4 months of validity as it is tied to the date of the medical.
