Hi,

I am in the same boat. My case was completed on the 17th Jan, 2014 and still no interview date (PD is 21 Aug, 2013). I am hoping that i will get an interview letter (IL) at the end of February or start of March for an April interview ( or may be end of March if i am lucky, I highly doubt it though). I am following the immigration timelines for all immigration categories that are waiting or have secured and interview in Islamabad. I have seen one for April, 2014 for CR1 category. Lets update each other as soon as one of us get a good news. Lets pray for the best!

Keep me posted, Thanks

I was hoping to hear from the NVC today ( based on the predictions from other VJ members) but no news as of now. i hope to hear from them soon. please let me know if anyone hears anything from the NVC regarding the interview letter. Another thing that concerns me is the retrogression ..not sure how will that play in April..

my PD is feb 7th 2013, and case completed on 22nd january 2014. a case is complete when ds 260 have been submitted, reviewed and accepted by the NVC. what made me say that retrogression wont happen til july is, i read the AILA news, AILA is i guess an association of immigration lawyers, they contacted the DOS and based on the response from the DOS> mexico retrogressed in march 2014. which is the spring of fiscal year 2014. and retrogression for all other chargeability would happen in the last quarter of fiscal year 2014 , which start from july - september. the following is copied from the site:

"

F2A Category: Fiscal Year 2014 Movement
The AILA Department of State Liaison Committee has been informed by the State Department that due to the demand of F2A visas by Mexican nationals, the Mexico F2A visa preference category is expected to retrogress in the spring of FY2014.

If the return rate for this visa category decreases, the retrogression may come sooner than spring of FY2014. There is a 50% return rate worldwide for F2A visas which may be due to the fact that some applicants will convert to Immediate Relative visas in order to take advantage of the Provisional Waiver Program or some marriages may terminate before the visa is available.

DOS also anticipates that the F2A worldwide visa preference category will retrogress by the last quarter of FY2014. DOS will include visa retrogression predictions in future visa bulletins.

This means that F2A category for spouses and children of permanent residents is likely to retrogress around July 2014 for World-wide, India, Philippines and China category and in early 2014 for Mexico."

Do you know the PD and/or the CC date for the person who received the IL? Do you also know the date of interview and is it the F2A category?
