I check roughly around 10 times a day.I wish late March or April slots open up.

Wow! That's good news, I hope I can get dates sooner too.. We'll going to have our Medical Exam this Monday, hope everything goes well.

I was freaking out so much when I saw the date popped up; it was almost like I didn't even know how to use the computer again..... Hahahaha

I rushed to try to reschedule to get the date

That's exactly what I'm doing, I checked every hour and hoping to get sooner one.

Yeah, kinda funny..when I saw the date popped up which is May 5, I was like OMG! this is it hahaha and I then got confirmed and I texted my fiance though I know he was sleeping that time, I just want him to know and I felt so excited LOL

Hank: Do expedited cases run off of the same calendar as the one on the US Docs website? Or does the Embassy have a separate calendar for that?

Did you call USEM to schedule? The may still have dates blocked that don't show on the calendar.

I rescheduled once to get the date we were looking for.

Supposedly, you can only reschedule TWICE without having to pay the visa fee again

Yup! That's what I read about rescheduling, you can do it TWICE

If you cancel twice to reschedule not only will you have to pay another visa fee, you will have a 90 day waiting period to reschedule (a time out for being naughty I guess )

From the U.S. Embassy Manila website:

"Please plan your visa application accordingly to avoid problems securing an interview appointment. Even though nonimmigrant visa fees are valid for one calendar year, options to schedule an appointment are limited. Applicants are only allowed to reschedule twice (not including the initial appointment) without penalty. If the second rescheduling attempt is canceled, an applicant will only be allowed to reschedule a new date after a waiting period of 90 calendar days."

Hi guys,

I paid the visa fee yesterday thru BPI and tried setting up an appointment today around 2:30 pm. The first available appointment which showed up is for May 6, 2014 but I decided to choose May 8 instead. I was hoping that I would find an available date on April... I wonder what's the best time to do the checking?
