Hi my father's case start from GUZ, which I have option to enroll in electronic processing.

I followed the instruction and sent a opt in request to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

And still no respond,, So I called nvc customer service monday, the lady suggest me resend the opt in email.

And I did that on the 19th, still no respond from them

Anyone have experience for EP opt in?

Should I send in document via email without their confirmation? I read something online saying you have to wait for the confirmation before

you can send in the document via email.

Please advise.

Is best to send in the OPT IN Email [the magic word is ENROLL now]

on or after the day you receive the AOS FEE BILL in your email inbox.

Attempt prior, and the switch is NOT turned on, NVC not listening for your email.

If NVC isn't sending you anything back, via email, then it's possible they not know of you, so be certain to give over your email address during your next telephone contact with NVC.

Hi Darnell, I gave them my email address and my father's email address to them.

I did included my case number follow by the magic word "ENROLL"

I did send the opt in request email after the AOS bill.

When I called the customer service ask for the EP status, the representative seems not know about what electronic processing are. The customer service representative is very rude as well.

I don't know how much longer should I wait, the first opt in I sent was on the 11th, the second one was on 19th.

IV BILL AND AOS BILL ARE ALL PAID. I have all document ready to send in, just waiting for the opt in email.

OMG - you not have Electronic Processing Training for Guangzhou ? Please transfer me to a Supervisor. Thanks !

I'm terribly sorry, but I need someone with God Access on the computer, and that's not you. Please transfer me to a Supervisor. Thanks !

I understand you're trying to be helpful, but unless and until you have specific training for EP at Guangzhou and have access to see stuff on EP for Guangzhou, further talking with me is going to be a waste of your time. Please transfer me to a Supervisor. Thanks !

Hey - I not like snow days either, but I really need you to transfer me to a Supervisor, as you cannot see what's going on for enrolling in the optional Electronic Processing for Guangzhou . I know, I feel your pain, snow sucks a lot. Be a dear, and transfer me to a supervisor. Thanks !

How about waiting for four years from the NVC with no response, enrolled in electronic processing with the same old message from four years ago. A plea for mercy due to the terrible circumstances in Venezuela for a stepson.

Calling them redefines the meaning of "rude", senators and congressman claim to be helpless, all under jurisdiction of the executive branch. Feel the more emails we send, the further down the list we go, maybe its just better to be quiet.

Its also not good to learn our government relations with Venezuela are very poor more of a kicking out consulates situation than anything else. Also hearing rumors that our relationships with China are going to pot.

What our goal is now, is to find a different country that will take our son to get him the hell out of Venezuela. Airline rates to Venezuela have skyrocketed, and even a new fear of going down there as they are detaining Americans as potential spies.

All started because my stepson was barely over 21 so I could not petition for him, wonder who in the hell made this law. Sure causing a lot of stress.
