My hubby case got approved on jan 30th and i have not receive my noa2 yet, case is at NVC since feb 11th, no case number yet calling them everyday they will tell me they have not enter it into system. Am i going to need noa2 in future and how long does it take them to enter it in to system. Thanks.

They told us today 20-30 working days max to get it entered. We were approved on the 13th of Jan, NVC reveived on the 28th and still waiting on numbers. Best of luck to you.

For what its worth, here's the timeline that we've encountered so far:

November 20, 2013 - USCIS approval of I130

December 20, 2013 - NVC acknowledges receipt of the file (NVC also advises that they hold the file for 20 working days before any action is taken)

January 17, 2014 - AOS Invoice was received (and paid online same day)

January 21, 2014 - AOS fee payment processed

February 21, 2014 - IV Application Invoice received (and paid online same day)

Awaiting payment processing receipt so we can complete the IV App.

We experienced an unusual delay between the AOS and the IV Application invoice with continual "explanations" that there was a backlog because the office was closed due to snow/blizzard days.

IR-1 or CR-1 visa ?

No - NOA-2 serves no purpose, it's never asked for along the way, after.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

someone at NVC told me that today, and Monday is here again i will continue calling them untill they give me case number.

Ok thanks i don't know if it's IR-1 or CR-1 visa. What does that mean?
