I did pay already for k1 visa at BPI yesterday Friday 2 pm. And it says currently no available appointments even the next month n the next year? ?

Takes 12-24 hours before the receipt number is recorded at USEM so you can schedule most times. Do you see the scheduling calendar, just no openings?

Hello everybody. I'm so confused right now. I just cancel my appt this coming may 8 cuz of what was the papers says that it only took 4 months for the petition. I just had my med exam last march 31 all goes well. But then now me n my fiancé just have problem for my interview appt. available slot was on June, we couldn't wait for any longer. My question is if i cant have my interview appt this month, does my med exam result would be a problem by then during my interview? Cuz i read that two weeks before interview i should have my med exam n now we don't know when i will have my interview.. This so frustrating

Not sure why you cancelled your May 8th appointment. What papers regarding 4 months? hmm. Petition validity will be extended up to a year by the embassy. I am confused on this one.

You did your medical the end of March, it is valid for 6 months, so if you have your interview in June you will less than 3 months remaining to travel to the USA and clear POE. There is no issue as long as you don't delay after getting your visa.

I received the instruction letter comes w a copy w l129f that says there approved jan 2 till may1 date of expiration

Oh that letter.... it means nothing (seriously. Besides listing the link to the USEM info online). Sorry you canceled your May 8th interview because of that, there was no reason to.

Hello i just have a question about DS 160.Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

You will have a DS-3025 after the medical at St. Lukes, so the answer is YES.

Well that is a little weird being the K-1 visa application is process by the Immigrant Visa Unit not the NON-immigrant visa unit.

And there is nothing mentioned on the non immigrant visa page, the 28th and 29th is not mentioned for being closed

http://manila.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant-visa.html

Here is the closure schedule for the embassy: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwholidays.html

And the immigrant unit has posted on their website:

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICANTS

The Immigrant Visa Unit will be temporarily closed on April 17 and 18, 2014 in observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, respectively.
