I get you... patience is the name of the game...

well patience, and I think she was pointing out a string can be any length really - depending on where you cut it. Every FBI name case is different. It depends on numerous factors a short list being - who has your cases, their case load, how common your name is, if someone with the same name has done a no-no. Numerous factors my friend.

Good luck!

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

there is a thread in this forum that you could look at but you will still be non the wiser as to how long it takes.......what it will do is.......relate to people that are in the same position and also make you realise that you have not been waiting long at all compared to some people, who incidentally you have to admire for not going crazy waiting...those people in my eyes deserve a medal especially people like Rebeccajo and lal brandow who still come on here and give us all such great advice...thanks to you both

Aw. That was nice. Thanks.

I don't think I'd make it if it weren't for Laura. What's oh-so-weird is we were friends before we found our husband's petitions in this same predicament.

Hey, maybe we should have a 'friend break-up' and then the cases would get resolved...
