My wife is getting so bummed. We still have not heard anything 120+ days after the AOS interview downtown L.A. at the Federal Bldg. The telephone hotline is totally a waste of time and we've been locked out of the online system for some bullshit reason. I can't get any info other than "it's processing" We are so frustrated at having done everything by the book and still have not heard on either the EAD or Green Card. My wife is a nurse and has now been out of work for a year and it's really driving her crazy. Where can I get some real help on our status?

have you done an INFOPASS appointment? you should be able to inquire about your EAD at least (perhaps they did not process it since you already had your AOS interview.) did they tell you if you were approved pending name check?

No. How do you do that?

It would be nice to at least get the EAD. I was under the impression that we would have gotten that much sooner as we applied for both it and the AOS at the same time. They told us that everything seemed fine at the interview, but that background checks still had to be done.

Ahhh your in name check hell... sorry about that ...

about the infopass.... on the main uscis webpage, bottom right hand corner where you can enter your MSC number etc, you will see "make an appointment".... just go through those steps... you should definately have had your EAD at least. best of luck.
