I leave to bring my finacee back in a couple of weeks. When we return, do we go through the regular US line? She will give the package to the imigration office in the line we go to, right? And last, she will input her finger prints there for the first time. Is that correct?

She can accompany you in the US citizens' line, no problem. Once she gets to the CBP officer she will be sent to secondary inspection for processing of her K-1 packet. You can accompany her to secondary and wait while she is processed. There is no need for her to take the visitors line.

Good luck!

She can go with you in the US citizen's line. When you get to the counter, hand them your passport and hers and tell the officer she is here on a K-1 visa. He will ask for her visa packet, and will take her fingerprints and digital photo. He will then take you to a waiting room, where you will sit and wait for an interview with another immigration officer. When your name is called, you both can go back to the officer's office. He will briefly look over your paperwork, ask a few questions, such as about the wedding, tell you that you need to get married within 90 days, might tell you about adjustment of status, might tell you about removing conditions. Then he'll hand your passport back to you and you are on your way.

When I brought my fiancée and her son, POE Chicago, we went to the US citizen's line. When it was our turn, I stepped forward

and told the CO, I'm re-entering, and bringing my fiancée and her son here, on a K-1 and K-2 visa. The CO said, "Have them comeforward.", looked through the packet, took her fingerprints, and told us we were good to go. No secondary interview or anything.

It only took a few minutes longer than if I was entering myself!
