Hi All. I believe my wife's interview will be after April 15th. I wanted to wait until she is in the US to file our 2013 return. I plan on filing for an extension.Would transcripts for 2010,2011 and 2012 along with w2s for 2010 through 2013 and last 6 monthsof pay stubs be good enough ? Thanks

If the interview if after April 15th then you will need 2013 tax transcripts or copies of the tax forms you actually file.

If I were you, I would look more into this so you don't get surprised with a 221-g for current tax returns(Even though agree with you that 6months of your pay stubs should suffice).

I'm getting ready to file the I-485 for my wife and I waited for the 2013 tax returns. I'm guessing that

you might run into probs with the tax returns. I would file them, and get her a signed copy with the

w-2's. I was there for my fiance's interview in October and also had three more years of returns other

than the current years(2012) with me just in case. An issuance of a 221g just delays the process

and might lead to a denial. Depends on the person doing the interview. Besides that it just cost

more money too. Good Luck!
