You can return once you receive your AP. It will take 2 to 3 months after you file for your AOS (with EAD and AP).

Presuming that you are asking when can you visit Columbia and legally reenter the US, then you need to leave either with AP or a green card.

The combo EAP/AP card which you can apply for when you file to adjust will arrive about 2-3 months after you file.

USCIS strongly advise not to make any travel arrangement when applying for AP. If the AP does not arrive in time for your flight, then you will either eat the plane ticket or leave without a legal way back to the US. Be careful when making your travel plans.
