When is the best time of the day to call uscis for update status?

Probably first thing in the morning if you don't want to wait very long. May I ask how fast they got back to you that they approved your expedite after you submitted it? I put in an expedite request almost 10 days ago and haven't heard anything.

Not sure if it was approved so your best bet is to call.

The email that we got explicitly said that the request was approved and that our packet to be sent to NVC. Definitely call them to clarify.

That's a long time. I made my husband call twice to check on it and I was just about to get him to contact them again but they beat me to it and sent the approval email.

I definitely recommend calling them to find out because if it's been denied then you can move on or request reconsideration which is what I would've done if we were denied lol

You have the same NOA1 date I have. You haven't been transferred? All the other august 15th filers were transferred to California on the Feb 10th for processing with a few having their applications approved yesterday.

Your expedite request filed this late in the game may have actually slowed down your approval.

It is clearly stated there that you met the requirements for expedite processing, that means your expedite request was approved. However since their decision for the approval of your petition is taking longer than 30 or 45 days, you should call uscis and follow up on your case.

I dont think the expedite request slowed down the approval. When we requested for expedite due to typhoon, everyone from the philippines were transferred from nbc to service centers, except for a few and that included us. We remained at nbc and was approved within the 30 day time frame. And to be honest, im thankful we remained at nbc because as what ive observed, other service centers take forever to ship approved cases to nvc.

OP, just call uscis and ask for any updates with regards to your case. Hope you get your approval soon! :)
