K1 visa (islamabad embassy) under AP!! 2014!

hey guys,

i am a little upset but i am going through different emotions and praying. is anyone out here is going through ap even though everything was fine during the

interview. my fiance had an interview on feb 19,2014. the interviewer said he is approved from his side but still he needs to put him under ap for security

purposes. this is something they have to do for almost everyone. esp guys. but than on VJ i saw alot of couples gettting visa right away. im just a little worried.

they kept his passport and medical. his birthday is comming up soon. i really want to be with him. we have been wiaitng for a year now. i know if you are here that

means you know my situation. i dont know how much longer it will take. do you guys have any idea. if you have been through it you know what i mean. the co said

it might take anytime from a week to 4 months im praying its issued in a week or so. :( i am happy but not totally satisfied. he was given a 221g slip as well.

and kept his medical report. please please pray for us. we really want to see each other... they question him 3 things and they said everything looks good. you

guys look good together. so i dont know whats the deal .. :/ prayyyyyyyy

This is very common Bunch of folks are undergoing AP, even though you have plenty of evidence to content the CO yet they have to do security checks but sorry to say i don't really want to scare you at this point. but it varies case to case it could be name checks or any other thing they need to investigate, now you are in to this immigration process you need to learn how to have patience. i had my interview even though my wife was along with me CO said to me clearly he is approving me today then he saw something while typing in his pc and handed me over the Green slip. i was also shocked to see that was much disappointing. i have been in ap for last 5 Months last update was made after almost 5 months. just have patience avoid thinking of it else you will have to face much stressful situation. meanwhile keep checking your case status on ceac.state.gov

aaarrghh.. that's sooo much! did you get your visa though? are you guys together now? I had so many things planned its crazy. its been a year since we filed and now its like come one give me the visa. our file was prepared by our lawyer and I know here is nothing wrong for sure. I guess its just background checks and stuff but I hope this goes by really fast. :/

Patience is the key to over go this process, we have also been on AP for 13 months, so all I can recommend is patience and prayer.

where did we meet, what do I do, my kids names, etc. He was also given this green sheet, and they also kept his passport.

ohhhhhhhh no, thats not good. we just have to pray than :/ i hope Allah make this fast for us and i pray to Allah that he is here soon. Inshallah
