Received this email on Feb 18.... what does it mean? Its been approved and whats the next step I need to do???

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity


On February 18, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.


For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Congrats! You should be getting your NOA2 in the mail shortly. This means your petition was adjudicated and the officer gave an initial approval. Now you'll go through the NVC and interview stage, so you should start preparing for that. Look at the guides for further info on what you need to do.

Congratulation you are approved....next step it is wait 3 week aproximatly and call NVC and ask if they have your new case number..You going to receive by regular mail in few days or week your notice letter about the approve, your Noa2 notice and then stay calling the NVC in few weeks.Good Luck in your Journey...

Notice of Action. When you sent in the K-1 application/evidence, you should have gotten a letter from the USCIS that acknowledged that your application was accepted. That was your NOA1, or first notice of action. Upon approval (what you just got), you will receive another letter in the mail saying that your case has been approved, which is your NOA2. Make sure you hold on to that letter when you get it in the mail. Your application is now going to be sent to the NVC (National Visa Center), where it will then be routed to your local consulate. Thanks guys....

I sent the application on January 22 and it was accepted on January 27 and re routed to the USCIS California Service Center.

Then on January 29, I receive another notice from USCIS with a case status of - Initial review

and just 2 days ago on February 18, case status is now - post decision activity and they will mail me a notice that they have approved my I129F petition

Pretty quick ha? hehe
