NOA1 January 24.

Mailed it January 13.

No news yet. Congrats to everyone. I'm annoyed that people who filed after me are getting approvals. I feel like it should be a first come, first serve kind of thing. Doesn't USCIS respect the sanctity that is the queue? Ugh.

Although given the response I got from my congresswoman's office yesterday, USCIS is telling me to wait NINE MORE WORKING WEEKS/45 BUSINESS DAYS to inquire again. Yeah. That would put us at past the 8 month mark. This is f-ing ridiculous. We would've just gotten married had we known it would take this long.

me...I am still waiting...my NOA1 was on Jan 7th....

I am afraid I will be that person who gets approved for last....

it's ok...as long as we get approved...better late than never..

I am not proud to say, but knowing my luck, I will end up beating you to be the last one's to get it. Nothing yet at my end. I am mentally preparing to be number 97. Makes it easier..... FML!

Has anyone ever gotten this response from uscis after an inquiry? How long after that did u receive your NOA2? Or are you still waiting? ?

The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We had to perform an additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 90 days.

Yeaaaah we know. Its been posted several times all over the place, the mods merged all the topics into one big one here.

Those at the USCIS stage shouldn't be affected.

On another note, based on the recent approvals this is probably the most accurate I've ever seen this estimate...

I'm still waiting too… January 17th NOA1

Ok so silly question, if I were to miraculously get my noa2 tonight… would I be needing to do anything next week? I am going on vacation until next saturday and don't want to hold this process back any further. what exactly does the noa2 say? they won't ask for my affidavit of support or any of that until it gets to NVC, right? I don't want to bring my whole giant file cabinet with all my papers and future stuff if I don't have to.

You as the Petitioner do nothing. TSC will forward it to the NVC, the NVC assigns a case number and then forwards it to the consulate. If you got NOA2 today it would most likely still be at TSC when you get back.

So after sitting at the NVC for 8 days, I finally had an update from 'At NVC' to 'In Transit'. Within the space of about an hour, it changed to 'Ready'. I figure they send the case electronically. My fiancee went ahead and scheduled the medical last week since we already had the NVC number. The exam was yesterday. Can she go ahead and fill out the form, and say she is ready for an interview even though she hasn't actually gotten the official "packet" from the embassy? Wasn't sure if we should wait for this packet, or be proactive since CEAC says the status is 'Ready'.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/ according to that you can say you're ready for the interview. I've read over it a million times even though we have a long wait. Let me know how long it takes to get an interview, I'm curious with London. I want things to move as quickly as possible once we get our noa2

I am the petitioner.

I did look at my timeline :)

When i received that i was frustrated because i thought 90 DAYS??? I'm not waiting that long..but it is just a way to persuade you not to file for an inquuiry or contact them...after i read that i contacted congressman...!!!!
