It's so bad that on weeknights I sit at my computer with my cell phone until I fall asleep waiting for the elusive noa2 to arrive. Hoping it will arrive soon.

my parents made a very generous offer to allow me to go across the world for my fiancees interview, but I have yet to decide if this is the best decision. is anyone else planning to be together for the interview? I never really planned it because the east coast of the states and new zealand are a far ways away and I just never really considered it

I was going to go to my fiancé's interview too, but then I did some research and I actually can't be in the interview with him. I don't know how it is in New Zealand, but make sure to check and see if you are allowed in! Now I'll just have to support from afar. I'd probably make him more nervous anyway.

I know it's hard, but staring at your computer will just make you more upset. Try and focus on other things. Plan what you can and get excited that in a year, you'll be together and this will just be a thing of the past. Best wishes.

USCIS isn't responding to my congresswoman.

:(

They sent an inquiry on July 1.

I followed up with them last week - they told me they hadn't heard anything yet.

Followed up again today. Nothing yet.

Yeah.

Awesome.

I just got a response from my congresswoman's office (TSC took like 4 weeks to get back to them). Apparently I am to wait another 45 DAYS before contacting them again.

I'm just really sick of waiting.

This is so unfair.
