Only 564 approvals in May. So they approved about 6% of the petitions outstanding ( 564 completed during 5-2014 / 9,629 outstanding as of 4-2014). It is obvious that the I-129F petitions were/are not the priority for TSC. They are approving around 25% of outstanding I-130 petitions every month.

However, based on the late June/early July activity on VJ for TSC, I think they are focusing more on I-129Fs now compared to previous months (March-May).

If you look at CSC data from last year - they had 4 consecutive months of fewer than 500 petitions approved - and their backlog reached about 16,000 before they started taking action (hard to tell if they started transferring or just working a lot of cases).

Well, in early August they will release the new processing times, and will likely move the lag to 6 months or so. This is likely their way less senators and congresspersons can do anything... I cannot believe they only processed 564... If I did something similar like this in my profession, I would have been fired!

I think we should contact the Director with a letter from us all. I'm not so good at them, can anyone draft one well? We can then post it here, and all of us can send a letter to him.

We'll have more luck if we involve everyone from Feb-Mar-Apr-May-Jun-Jul. Not everyone knows to look at previous month's threads, so a thread dedicated to this might be better

I really hope you hear something soon! It's only a matter of time as more and more are being approved. Maybe you could try another local representative? Some are more responsive than others.

We put an enquiry in with a different senator at first but didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks, so we tried another and he called USCIS almost every day until our case was with an officer. I am forever grateful for that and wish he could handle the entire east coast's cases!

Oh my representative's staff got back to me the same day I inquired and has been so amazing about communication... it's USCIS that's being non-responsive in this case. USCIS hasn't responded to any of my rep's inquiries. Blergh.
