Just spoke to the senator's office. 2 weeks ago they told me my file would be pulled to be processed and to call them back if after 2 weeks I didn't hear anything. I called today exactly after 2 weeks and the case manager who was very polite told me that now that TSC has changed their processing time to December 17th, I was no longer considered as being outside processing time and thus there wasn't much they could do anymore. However she will still contact TSC to find out what they will do now about my application. I'm so depressed right now words can't even express the abuse I'm feeling ? she even said she knows about VJ and not to trust everything I read and cases are differents etc etc oh boy will this ever end?!!!!!!?

. Did you tell your senators office that its dev 17th as of end of May, and processing time is 5.5 months. So yes we are outside the processing time, and she can help you.

I called my congressman's office before and was informed we were approved! No change in status in the USCIS website nor next notice but the person who had been helping me called back and was told that we were approved over the weekend (which means that missed call from USCIS was about that) and that the case would be sent to the NVC.

I want to thank everyone on this thread, you've been a fantastic source of support and information. Anyone still waiting for their NOA2 definitely contact your local congressperson or senator if you haven't done so already. Every case is different and every state is different but it's a big help. Good luck!

Thank you very much! I really hope you hear some good news soon too! I was informed by the person helping me that when a senator or congressperson's office calls the USCIS that they speak to different officers so once they call TSC on our behalf that we shouldn't do so on our own anymore because whoever we speak to will pull our file for review and delay things even further. I'm not saying that you will but just wanted to give a heads up just in case.

Yeah I thought the same thing but the congressman's rep called the USCIS while I was on the line and confirmed it. Hopefully working weekends will help them get through more applications.

Well I put in a service request at 5 months and 1 day for being outside processing times which were published at 5 months at the time and got the reply I expected........see below........

I will be contacting the Congressman a week today as the TSC wrote back and said 30 days for an answer and that was dated 18th June.

The wait goes on......

On 07/01/2014 you, or the designated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following:

The status of this service request is:

On July 1, 2014, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancée to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

We have placed your case on a processing hold because the required security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your case as soon as the security checks are complete.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Just as I was thinking "When the hell is TSC going to send my petition to the frickin' NVC?!" I came home to this:

I did NOT contact her staff to get an update on my case going to NVC, perhaps they asked to be updated whenever there's an update with the case? I'll call and ask tomorrow...
