Thanks you for your reply, shootersix66. I feel a bit now, because I know people here are all going through the same process and I don't feel helpless and alone. Congrats to you, hope your application will proceed to another stage very soon. I also need to improve my English, and I need to get a driving license when I am there. I have already got my wedding dress because it was on sale in June. I can't wait to dress in it in my wedding. Probably my fiancé and I and our families will cry nonstop in the wedding, it's just so touching we finally get together after all the long long processes. I hope all other January filers would get their NOA2 within this month.

so if we filed at the end of january, we still have at least 30 days of waiting?!

My NOA1 date is Jan 21st. I contacted them at USCIS and on July 4th got an email saying to wait 60 days -TWO months before contacting them again....!!!

Has anyone here ever gotten a call from the USCIS? I had a missed call yesterday but no voicemail. I looked up the number and it was USCIS but when I called it back I just got a message that it wasn't a callback number. They haven't called back, hoping they will tomorrow.

I don't know if this is helpful for any people in the future, but back in February, I called a USCIS officer and asked for a timeline. I now look back at this and think he was telling the truth because at the time I didn't believe him. I believed the VJ stats.

I told him I was trying to book wedding dates and with a short time period, I need to be as precise as possible. I asked him for a timeline and also referenced VJ and said people are on average having POE in 3-4 months. He said, "Not true for your case." He said my case would take 7-9 months for POE.

Now it's looking more and more true. So, for anyone who is just starting their K1 and is at TSC, book your dates keeping in mind the process for POE takes about 7-9 months.

When I first started researching this whole process back in December I was told 7-9 months too by the New Zealand embassy, and I basically had a mental breakdown, but here I am, 6 months tomorrow and still hoping and praying this gets moving soon!

Had a dream last night that there wEre many approvals for January filers this week... So fingers crossed!

I've always figured point of entry at 7-9 months. If noa2 takes 5 it's usually 2-3 months for interview/medical. And then a week to a month for visa depending on where you live. I was hoping for around 8 with my fiancé getting here in December, but with how slow the process is moving, I don't know. I've noticed uk interviews take about 2 months from the noa2 date, but a lot of factors go into that. If I'm fully prepared & send him everything within a day of my noa2, he could schedule his medical as soon as we get his case # before he even gets the packet. Hopefully that will make things go faster afterward...& if noa2 takes 6 months he may still get here by December. Ugh, I don't know. I hope more of you start getting approved & they move into February. Good luck everyone...

I am the petitioner.

The reason I didn't assume 7-9 months is because I was referencing this: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php

For my specific case, the VJ stats say:

NOA1 (TSC) - 7 days

NOA2 (TSC) - 71 days

TSC -> NVC -> Consulate - 29 days

Consulate ->. Interview - 43 days

Interview -> Visa - 7 days

Visa -> POE - 2 days

So using VJ, my assumption was 159 days until my fiance is here in front of me. When I told the officer this, he said, I should be in reality be looking at 7-9 months.

He was right, because in reality, its more like:

NOA1 (TSC) - 2 days

NOA2 (TSC) - 160 days

TSC -> NVC -> Consulate - 38 days (from other members in my exact position)

Consulate ->. Interview - 30 days (from other members in my exact position)

Interview -> Visa - 5 days (from other members in my exact position)

Visa -> POE - 2 days

So, as you can see the process for me will take about 8 months in total. I assumed it may be the same with everyone else.

Man, those were the days! At one point NOA2 at TSC got down to 41 days but that was because of the Philippines expedites, such a freaking letdown.

Well, I'm hoping for that...he can easily be here by mid December if it's that...I'd like it to be sooner, but...I'll be ok with mid December. We might have to live at my parents house for a few weeks until I get an apartment situated for us...but. I'll be okay if it's "only" 8 months...
