January 2014 TSC Filers

Well the petition right before mine was approved Feb 4th, there are petitions with a receipt number that is less than mine but have an NOA1 after mine. There's also a petition 300 receipts ahead of mine (random guess I tried, I didn't look though them all!!) that has the same date as mine, and several in between that come before or after me. I don't think TSC does their receipt numbers in order, perhaps they reuse them for new apps when they become available? Who knows...

I should give this a try. When I looked through the Visa Journey listings, looking for only UK filer, there were two that were approved a few weeks ago one above mine and one below my date. I wonder what happened there, why those went so quickly.

But looking at the lists November is almost done, only a few petitions to go so maybe they will start processing December heavily. It seems like the TSC was going a lot faster before now, I wonder what happened. If only the USCIS gave us more info then the status checker which will indefinitly stay on initial review.

Edited: tried a few number before and after, 15 less then my petition number are all approved, but they are all different things, and ones after have not been approved, only one has gotten an RFE. The approvals are comming. I hope so...

This is good news but also quite confusing. There are still large numbers of December filers so I'm curious why they already touch Jan's. But anyhow, I set my expectation to late May. I'll see her in a month so this makes the wait a little less .... gruesome !!!

Okay, so if anyone sees that I am wrong with my info please let me know!

1. All other = back log of previous months petitions that are yet to be approved as of that month (As of Jan14 they have over 5,500 petitions from previous months to process)

2. Awaiting customer action = RFE's sent out/More information required from customer

3. Completions = How many petitions have been completed in that month alone

4. Receipts = How many petitions have been received that month alone

So as of Jan14, they have over 5,500 petitions to approve at Texas Service Centre alone

I hope that helps!

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

Yea, that's what I don't get. I think it would be fine if they were generally in order but why are some going faster without expedites or anything.

I hope we all get NOA2's as soon as possible! I really hope those waiting in the 5,500+ backlog of petitions get tended to first though, it's only fair.

The sad fact is that February and March filers aren't included in that 5.5k backlog, if they would quit approving February and March apps we might get somewhere

HI all,

Can anybody answer this question for me???

Is there a point at which my Police Certificate can be out of date? I had my NOA1 on the 30th January and the certificate is dated 17th January?

Does this point relate to any other documents.

Regards

Rich

Yeah I just saw the February filers forum & there are people already getting approved but i don't see any for January, and this week marks 2 months since I got my first notice.

I followed the instructions on this website when submitting my app, and I didn't include an afdvt of support, was I supposed to? Because it clearly states that it should be submitted once the NOA2 is received. I just want to make sure.

Pretty sure the february filers getting approved right now had their applications processed at CSC.

You are correct - the affidavit of support does not need to be submitted with the initial 129F application submission. it is required at the interview.

I believe they are valid for 12 months.. I could be wrong though!

Don't forget the finger print check with the Police Certificate too!
