Got my text and email notification 7:30 am

that was for an RFE, correct? maybe texts for RFEs go out earlier?

over the last few weeks...people have said that they received RFE notifications during the day - while the approval notifications came around 9pm.

so maybe they just shifted the notification times up several hours. who knows!

SOOOO! I just called USCIS! We cant do a service request until AFTER they work on the cases with our dates. SOOOO if Texas is working on December 3rd...and your case (like mine) is January 9th....you can't fill in a service request until they are processing January 10th and you didn't hear anything. THIS IS B%#$@#$@#!!!!!! So basically, we can wait until December 2014??????

So when I called, the customer service people said that they don't actually get updated information except every month. SO the December 3 date was as of June 3, which was over 3 weeks ago. They seem to be processing 5.5-6 months out. I don't think the lower-level customer service people (who aren't at the service center and have no idea what's actually happening) can do anything until well after they receive updated information from the service center.

Slow gov't bureaucracy but it could be worse I guess!

I'm at 5 months and 3 days today. Here's hoping I hear something today or next week!

To whoever is past the 5 months at TSC : contact your senator's office !!!

I thank Memphis's senator (Bob Corker)'s office! They made it happen, 2days after my fiancé sent in the form allowing them to check on our case we received our NOA2.

I thought it would take forever..!!!!

monday (day of our 5 months) my man called USCIS, they told him to call back the next day

5months+1day :: they tell him we'll have to wait an other 52days before we can call back again, my man sends the agreement form to the senator's office

5months+2days :: Senator's Office gives my man a call telling him if he doesn't hear anything about uscis in a month (month 6), he should contact the senator's office again

5months+3days :: My man tells me he received the NOA2 per mail around 8pm last night (5months+2days) he didn't tell me 'cause he knew I wouldn't sleep anymore if I knew lol ..

I checked on the uscis website & my man sent me the e-mail. Soo on our side website+email worked.

I contacted my Senator's office last week. On his website, he has several tabs, including Visas. He has a spiegl (a summary) of how he wants to help Connecticut residents, etc. etc. I printed out the form, mailed it in with a copy of my NOA1 received on January 13th. I was notified THAT DAY by e-mail that a constituent was assigned to my case and her name. I called her yesterday, she had a wicked attitude, and said that my January case of January 9th was within normal processing time...it didn't matter what CSC's processing time was....she didn't seem to care about the runaround of TSC....it seems the Senator and this constituent have differing views on the residents of the state of Connecticut and visas. After pushing the issue, she said she would send in an inquiry but that USCIS usually takes 3 business days to respond. I totally wish the actual Senator was handling this case and NOT the snobby constituent who seems like she cares about my case like she cares about a passing cloud....

This sounds similar to the woman I had on the phone from the congressman's office.. maybe it depends on the person. Have you tried your congressman's office?

@wayneli613 :: I'm sorry I don't get to 'quote' using the mobile version of VJ. He sent the document saying he allows the people from the senator's office to look into our case. You can usually find it online on your senator's office's website. We both called them n they sent it to my fiance per mail, he printed it out, filled it & faxed it back :)
