I heard from back from Congressman Moran's office yesterday. I was told that my case is currently in the hands of an immigration officer. It took two weeks to get a response from USCIS, so it takes a minute.

P.S. Of course, I already booked a trip to Peru to see my bonita at the end of July. I don't think for a second it'll work out that the interview is the same dates that I booked to be there.

You are very lucky cuz you haven't even hit the 5 months yet and they said ur case is in the hands of an officer already...I'm jealous lol

I wait almost 5 months untill in the end of this month. I hope they begin to work for K1. Sometimes I feel sad and upset evern want to give up.

But my fiance always encourage me. Maybe it's a test of our God. I told to him to prepare his guarantee material and send to me in the same time. I hope can get visa ASAP.

Some good news today. Yesterday I sent the privacy consent form to my congressman (Bill Pascrell) and I just got a call from his office. They called the USCIS and were informed that my case was being assigned and we should hear some news within 30 days. Definitely a needed pick me up!

Hi Tonester, every senator/congress person requires you to complete and sign a form that allows them to pull your info and contact USCIS on your behalf. If you go on your local senator's or congress person's website it should be on there, if not call their office and they can fax or email it over to you.

I was watching another forum, and just saw that one of their members got their NOA2 on June 17th. Their NOA1 was dated in April, and receipt number was SRC1490129xxx. So they do work on cases after January.

Yes they don't do things in order, I'm sure a good amount of February filers will get approved before we do. I'm just hoping I get NOA2 in less than 200 days at this point.

K-1

I-129F NOA1 => NOA2: 161 days

NOA2 => Interview: 64 days

AP: 33 days

Total: 258 days

AOS

No Interview

Hiya!

I filed my I-129F on January 9th, 2014. In two and a half weeks (July 9th), I will hit 6 months from my NOA1 and still no NOA2. I filled out a privacy release form, and contacted my Senator. Mailed him the NOA1 along with the form stating what the problem was. He already has someone assigned to my case, which is nice. Let's hope they find more information out. I contacted USCIS again (I call every Friday since the 5 month mark). The representative said they are processing 5 months and I said that's nice....mine is outside of 5 months. She checked and agreed. I told her the USCIS has two different numbers...one says within 5 months, and another says you can't make a service inquiry until 6 months. I informed her that 6 months is vastly approaching, and if I can file a request then. She told me I could do one today. GREAT! She asked me a few questions and then said she couldn't process the service inquiry because I'm still within the "normal" processing time. They are currently working on December 3rd and that Texas is "a little behind". I told her there was a difference between "a little behind" and that the fact CSC is processing May 2014 filers and Texas is back in December 2013....that's quite a BIG difference! I asked how long I have to wait....she said give it a month. I asked why I have to wait 7 MONTHS BEFORE FILING A SERVICE INQUIRY!!! IT'S NOT FAIR! I also asked if it would be processed before 2015.....since Texas is slow. Even asked if I could have it transferred to Cali and she said no, unless I move there. Looks like I'm stuck.....and both my fiancee and I are extremely depressed and devastated.

P.S. Although I'm happy for some countries who get their NOA1 and NOA2 within a few weeks of each other, it's not right they get to jump ahead of those who filed WAY before them!!!! GRRRR!

Gillibrand's office wrote an email back, that they will place an inquiry with the USCIS for me :) YAY.

Also today my petition was touched, the date was changed to today's date, that my alien number was changed.

Yesterday I wrote an email to the TSC email which is generally for an already pending issue with the call center that was never resolved. I wrote the I cant place a service request even though I'm over processing time. and even quoted the website that says 5 months.

It's a small victory but it did make my day.

Removal of Conditions

4/10/17 - i751 sent

4/13/17 - i751 received

5/3/17 - Check Cashed

5/5/17 - NOA 1 (dated 4/13)

YAY!!! Congratulations, WOOHOO!!! Any step, no matter how small, is quite monumental when it comes to TSC! :D

Let's hope my Senator is the same. My alien registration number was changed January 15th, 2014, and that's all the action it has had since.

I am excited you see you put in an e-mail about the service request! You noticed the same thing I did, except on another part of their website (where you put in the service request I believe), it states not to make a service inquiry until 6 months has passed. Yet, on another part of the website with their "processing times", it states 5 months. Gotta love it.....

Well our congressman just emailed my fiance and said they can not do anything, they did not call USCIS they just checked the website and that is. They said we were in the normal processing time (less than six months) and that was not true CSC were processing faster because, according to the website, is the same time range that TSC! Ash!

I put in a service request a few days ago and used Dec 1 as the date. And in the last action taken I wrote, spoke to congressperson who said I can put a request after 5 months. Could be worth a shot, not sure which combination of things worked for me. but I made a lot of noise.
