I think you may be the only January TSC filer (non-expedite) on VJ that has already received your NOA2. We are all jealous of you!! ;) Hopefully we will see some more January activity for TSC filers soon. Good luck with booking your interview - let us know how it goes!

Thanks and i hope you all hear something soon ;-)

Hi,

First of all, Good luck. I guess you mean you are the petitioner, not beneficiary. My fiancee did not include Affidavit of Support either, I don't think that would trigger an RFE. By the way, our NOA1s dates are the same, we should watch eacj other timelines. I did not get an RFE either. I'm hoping for an approval hopefully around late April/ May.

Ooopppsss thanks ashleyphilly. Yes i am the petitioner. So far all the USCIS have told me is the beneficiary has received an alien #.....still confused on what that means, expect he has a A# and that # will be used all throughout the process. Great to know! I guess we have to be patient and wait... :clock: Crossing fingers to not received a RFE notice :-). Good luck :-)

Hi!

Anyone here with NOA2 yet? (January filers, TSC, K1) .

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Nothing here yet! Anyone got an NOA2?

Are Nov and Dec filers at least 75% approved petitions? (anyone got a stat on that?!)

Quick question, (I dont have anything against the people from the Philippines, but I am just curious) Everytime I enter the website most the K1 approvals or "Interview today" are from people from the Philippines, When I check their timelines I realize they are December - January filers? Why is that? Maybe I am wrong, and it is just that the people from the Philippines are doing a better job updating info into this website... Does anyone know for sure? Feeling like applying to be a citizen of the Philippines  .

Right now filers from the Philippines receive an expedite on their application - so they are getting NOA2s very quickly (less than a month in most cases). I do not know all of the specifics of why but it has something to do with the typhoons that have recently hit their country. Not sure how long they will be receiving expedites - but maybe a lot of couples from the Philippines are filing now in order to take advantage of the quick turnaround. That might explain why it seems like there so many couples from the Philippines on this site? I don't have anything against them either - if i were in their shoes I'd want to take advantage of the expedite as well. ;) But it can be disheartening to see people get approved in 2 weeks when you've been waiting a lot longer. Oh well - just part of the process.

Filipino visa applicants are definitely riding the gravy train at this point. If given the opportunity, who else wouldn't do the same?

What doesn't make sense to me is TSC handling expedites, they should transfer them all to CSC, they seem to be on point with approvals lately. The lack of organization with these approvals is really what drives me nuts. On top of that, there are Filipino applicants from Nov/Dec that haven't been approved, and now TSC is already approving March apps. March. #######.

I agree - send the expedites to CSC! TSC is having enough trouble getting through the regular applications. I know we are all still within the "5 month estimate" so we should be complaining - but TSC is moving like molasses compared to CSC right now.

You made me laugh!

What are you guys doing while waiting? Have you start putting together the evidence of a relationship? Any ideas of what other things we can start working on ahead of time. I want to have my package almost ready when we get our NOA2.

Also, how do you deal with anxiety while waiting? I have some really cool days when I feel I am making progress towards getting married (working on my packet, look at wedding stuff, etc) But some other days I just feel hopeless. :clock:

Hi, quick question, are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? I noticed the country shows Cuba, Would you mind sharing some of your story? :)

I saw this in another TSC November thread

"I am getting discouraged about this whole thing. Fiance called USCIS yesterday and tier 2 officer told him that they are working on Oct 2 filers and that they will get to our NOA1 date in about 41 days (business days), I am just totally speechless and frustrated. :("

So that's roughly 2-3 months behind for Jan filers ... I'm curious if more Oct and Nov folks can call tier 2 to get a better estimate date since they are all eligible (5 months in).

Hi, quick question, are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? I noticed the country shows Cuba, Would you mind sharing some of your story? :)

Hi! I don't mind at all. I am the petitioner. I met my fiance on a religious sponsored trip to Cuba. He attended the church that my group partnered with for the trip. We hit it off and kept in touch after I returned home. And I guess the rest is history. ;) Traveling to Cuba can be a little tricky but I've been able to go back to Cuba to visit three times since our first meeting. I'm planning to visit again in early summer (can't wait!!) and then again for his interview later this year (will likely be in oct/nov due to a 5-6 month delay for scheduling interviews in Cuba). I've been holding off on pretty much all wedding planning until we are able to get an interview date. So I'm definitely ready for the process to start moving along. all in due time though. :) thanks for asking!
