Yeah that is no reason for an expedite. Wait in line like everyone else has to here. Upsets us that people slip by with such a silly excuse and get lucky enough for a granted expedite which holds back people who have been waiting there time. Don't be greedy :/

I just asked a simple question to see what should be the reason to request for expedite! and explained my current situation to you guys and asked for your opinion. Don't be upset, I'm not going to request anything. I'm waiting just like anyone else.

I apologize if I came off to strong at you there. It does become a touchy subject for most of us here because believe it or not, some ridiculous expedites are put in and seem to slip through the cracks and get approved, thus holding up others who have waited there given time you know?

I hear you bro, we're going to hit our 5th month in 2 weeks :( Honestly, I didn't even know such a thing exists, and wanted to know more about it. I'm going to contact my senators next week to follow up my case.

Good luck

You know what annoys me is when people who haven't nearly hit the 5 months are contacting their senator complaining about the difference between TX and Cali but yet sign a privacy form and give their receipt number. HELLO, when you do that they will look into YOUR case, I understand people hitting the 5 month mark or freaking close to it doing it but NOT people at 1-3 months that really annoys me. I read somewhere on a forum where someone contacted their senator and I think they were at the 2-3 mark and guess what that person got their NOA2 bc of the senator. That is cutting the line! Don't say your intentions are to complain about the difference but yet attach your receipt number and sign a privacy form! You can make complaints without putting your receipt number on there. I don't care who this pisses off, it's the truth!

So next monday is my 5 Month mark. I'm trying to decide how to proceed. I may call the congressperson I contacted before via email, or call the USCIS and demand a service request, and try to get around the 30 day wait. I would wait patiently but I just find it so unfair that they publish 5 months when what they really mean is wait 6 before complaining, and that people who filed with the CSC have their loved ones already in the country.

Also on that note, congratulations to everyone who got their NOA2 recently!

I think when you hit your 5 month mark you should contact your senator. You did your time, so you deserve to make some noise for not hearing anything for so long.

I agree. They stated that its 5 months, and they have to honor that. I think I will keep calling senator, congress person, USCIS, until I get my approval.

I contacted USCIS Call Center and asked about my case. The 'answer' was they are processing November 19th applications. I said I was given this same date a month ago..what gives? She said there is a back log.... :ranting::ranting:

this is an absolute joke, ive been following this thread since we applied late January and im sure the only date they've given us is November… what on earth is going on there?! Backlog or not, why has it taken them 4-5 months and yet they are still working on November apps? either they are giving us false information or they truly are short staffed big time, losing hope here.. :bonk:

I honestly think that when they give out a day/ Month etc, It's just that Month that adjudicator is on, I've seen more December approvals this Month, Some from January and even one in February Even one from March, All of them are at TSC and not at CSC (Made sure myself) So Maybe one adjudicator is on November while 1 is on December? That is my honest opinion about it all, They can't give us an exact Month cause they are all working on different Months. I don't know if that is the truth, no hate. lol! Just my opinion on it :)

no youre probably right with that, it would make sense too its just so frustrating when the dates jump around so much and we dont know what information to believe, moving into the fifth month for most of us im sure were all hoping to see alot more january dates being thrown out, knowing nothing is the worst part

I know it must be frustrating for y'all, Im only a march filler, I have until August 11th then I can complain. Hah! It's not fair when they jump around like this, Make it fair on everyone, if someone is waiting from Nov/Dec they should fly through those then fly through the Jan/Feb cause it's just noy fair on y'all, I really really hope you hear something soon, I know it isn't much but I really do wish the best for everyone :)
