I read the requirement from their website and most of them require us to meet the processing time first (5 months). Having said this, you can try but for me, I'll prob wait for this 15 days to be over before I contact them. I already have the letter typed up. I just wait till mid night and I'll hit "send" LOL !!

Your congressman (and two senators) are the only ones that matter. I have a few friends in offices on the hill and tried to hit up one of them for a favor, they referred me back to my local congressman because only that person can do this on my behalf. Definitely do it in 15 days though.

I've seen it be for a few people in other threads. They mostly hit on the TSC/CSC disparity of number of applications. I chose to make my request about shifting of resources from huge backlog to huge backlog and state that they are not effectively managing their resources. Both of these are valid concerns, but I decided to be different in hope that they'd have to come up with a different response.

Thank you both. I'm going to sen a mail as well, but not sure if I should send it to my Senator or congressman. It seems that people in this forum have sent to letters to both senator and congressman. Which one is more effective?

Any feedback if its a good idea to send both offices (senator and congressman). Please post if it helped or not. I did only one, and will be more than happy to do both if it works

Yeah we are going the senator route which i believe is Pat Toomey for PA. But even then i still think that we could be looking at a delay of another month maybe more.

Also are you calling/sending an inquiry directly to USCIS? Any route that you choose, I hope works for you bro. I really hope its not taking a few months more, that just wouldn't be cool. I am sending good vibes your way. Keep checking that mail box.

Thanks and the same to you, i will prob put a call with uscis aswell but i already know im gonna get the wait 30 days response from them, so Senator is next on the cards.

I know you will get the 30 day response time notification, but you never know it may also be earlier, got to do it.

I sometime feel, folks with no history of depression would go into depression due to this. I have been shame eating a lot.... not fun to have a gut when you have never had one.

Welll I have good and bad news. The good news my file is actually in someones hands and not sitting somewhere in a corner, the bad news I got an RFE. I dont know how the hell that happened! I have done EVERYTHING word for word needed and provided SO many pictures,airline ticket, passport stamp photos and so on. So I am very eager to receive this letter so I know what I did wrong! I hear after the RFE info missing is fixed it moves quickly afterwards so hopefully that's true. I'll be eagerly waiting for my mail man every day.

Just sent my congressman an e-mail complaining about the severe discrepancy between California & Texas processing times.

My application is over the 4 month mark, meanwhile those that submitted applications around the same time as myself & were transferred to California are already waiting for their interviews. With a few exceptions, many don't have serious circumstances such as natural disaster & economic hardship.

From my perspective, the transfer of applications to California is quite arbitrary & unfair to the rest of us.

It's sickening that the person that wrote before me submitted an application in January and is just getting a RFE.

Well when the system works right, (assuming a person is signed up for both) you get a text and an email, and the website updates.

At least someone is actively working on your case!! Hopefully the RFE isn't a big deal.

Yeah the difference between both is not right. It is annoying that now I have to wait up to a week to get this letter then overnight my fixed mistake, I'm hoping after it's fixed they will move quickly for my NOA2.
