Checked USCIS half asleep 2 hrs ago and was instantly awake! haha. No idea if we received a text or notification, I think my fiance neglected to tell me last night, either that or he doesn't know yet!

My case was sent to Kingston, Jamaica from August 18th. I have been contacting them about packet 3 since August 26th, still no packet 3 received up to now. We filled out and submitted DS-160 form. The embassy said they sent the packet but the postal system seems so unreliable. Can they send the information electronically? Anyone with similar issue?

Hello, at least in Mexico they send out 1 letter to beneficiary and a copy to the petitioner, my letter hasn't arrived yet and I had my interview last week, thank God my fiancé received the letter in the US and was able to send me a copy, thats what I used.

congrats, wait can you do the DS-160 right away? Doesn't it have to first go to the NVC and be routed to the country?

After waiting for 245 days, doing my routine case check on the USCIS website, I am estatic to say USCIS has approved our case and we should be received the NOA 2 in the mail soon. still in shock and tears, but so so so so so Happy!

Need to get my head straight to determine what are the next steps, I had all that sorted out a few months ago and have seem to forgotten it. no worries, I have you all to guide me as always. Thanks all for your support. Will update my timeline now.

Absolutely. Keep checking your status. They should notify you again when they've shipped it to NVC (took ours 3 days, but others have said a week or 2, depends on where yours is in the pile). After you hear about the shipping, give it 7-10 days and start calling NVC to make sure they have it and to get your new case number. Call either early (7am) or late (10pm) and expect to be on hold for about 45 minutes for a very short conversation.

Once you have your case number, you can go ahead an fill out DS-160 and schedule medical appointment. If you haven't gotten pcc yet, start that now. It's a good time to gather all your documents for the interview as well!

Is PCC the police certificate? In Punjab she gets a lot of push back, not sure if she can request it till she has submitted the DS-160 or got the case number. Tell me if I am wrong.
