Here is the information for Massachusetts (please note that I am in the 5th district - you might need to check what district you are in):

Senator Elizabeth Warren

617-565-3170

Immigration Specialist: Emily Winters

Agency Assistance http://www.warren.senate.gov/?p=form&id=1

Privacy Act Waiver form http://www.warren.senate.gov/documents/EW_Privacy_Waiver.pdf

They made inquiry on my behalf but after that no help at all, called them couple of times and nothing useful

Senator Ed Markey

617-565-8519

Immigration Specialist: Ellen Morrissey

Help with Federal Agencies http://www.markey.senate.gov/services/help

Privacy Release Form http://www.markey.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/2014-04-09_Privacy_Release%20_Immigration.pdf

A little bit more help from this office, two inquiries, took forever to return my calls

Congresswoman Katherine Clark

5th District

781-396-2900

Immigration Specialist: Kelsey Perkins

Help with a Federal Agency and Privacy Form https://katherineclark.house.gov/index.cfm/casework

They did most of the work for me, very helpful, still had to call them frequently and push them for more inquiries

Here is the link to figure out who your representative is:

https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/MA

Hope this helps!

You will need to fill out privacy release forms for each office. I sent hand signed forms to both senators and faxed signed form to my representative. Let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck!!!

Thank you sooooo much!!!!!!!!!!

200 days today and security checks for 36 days!!

I would be fine, except my fiancé's grandfather has been very quickly deteriorating in hospital over the last few days. Not only have I been incredibly close with his grandparents the last couple of years, but he is the centre of the family and best man at our wedding. We're the first of the grandchildren to get married and I can't bear the thought that I might never get to see his grandfather again :-((( I got so upset last night as he keeps asking for me, but I can't be there! I really wish I could be there with my fiancé and his family right now, the family are falling apart and my fiancé is the one trying to hold them together, all on his own.

Sorry for the venting guys, it's been a sleepless night. USCIS, you are literally stabbing me in the heart.

That is heart breaking! I am sooooooooooo sorry! This is absolutely unfair. I know it's not much consolation, but you should DEFINITELY apply to expedite your case if you haven't already. I think this qualifies as an "emergent situation" for sure.

Thank you caiti92, it really is unfair, trying to take this stuff as it comes!...my fiancé said this morning, it's not like we applied 3 months ago..we applied almost 7 months ago! Unfortunately we can't be expedited as we're undergoing security checks, they can't even give us a timeline. Maybe at the NVC stage though?

We're all hoping he holds out for a few more months so we can get married, but of course doctors are saying otherwise. I don't even know if I would be able to attend the funeral. With the K-1 in process, I no longer have an apartment, quit my job - I really don't have any more ties to the UK when it comes to getting into the US.

I'm still waiting.january 17 noa1 then was held in security checks for 50+ days according to my congressman. Then got a RFE august 16 and took 5 days to get the letter and mailed off once my fiancé got here for a visit. Hoping is approved soon and this nightmare is over for the rest of us!

Yup, no NOA2 here, although i'm technically an early feb filer we sent our package off on 27th Jan. I've stayed in touch with USCIS through our senator, and haven't even called USCIS once (most people seem to have bad experiences calling!).

Although we know we are still pending security checks, we're still really not sure what that means or why we're stuck there (no criminal history, not even a parking ticket, no marriages, no children, no high security jobs, not been a witness, no travel to high risk countries). It sounds like it is completely random, and just a case of serious bad luck!
