Yea I'm still the same :( By the way, two weeks ago my case was updated with the same old status but different date "On August 7, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F"

Did that happen to you too ?

Ours did that, so don't worry!

I really expect to see all January filers approved this month... One day we will be sharing stories about staying strong, having faith and being patient with our grand children. "Back when we got engaged we had to wait xxx days for your grandma to be able to come into this country..."

Best wishes :energy:

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

hey everybody.

my question is to all who went through nvc stage - did they hold somebody's case for like... a month or a bit more? is it normal?

after almost a month since it was sent there, they still cannot do such simple thing as correct my DOB they initially messed up, so we still don't know our case number. I mean... is it really this difficult? I constantly think about this "approved petition is valid for 4 months after approval" thing and am getting more stressed after each time they say to my fiance that there are no updates. ugh.

sorry for my rant, I just can't keep calm about it.

Will need to be new forms, new dates, not photocopies, with wet signatures from your fiancé. I wouldn't take the risk with photocopies :-/ . Maybe you can send them anyway though with the new forms? Just paperclip them separately and label "Original document photocopies". Just to be safe!
