Multiquote was being a real jerk and it didn't want me to include your post

Anyway, the other day I was thinking about when I have to drive my fiance back here and I had an "oh sh-t" moment because omg it's finally happening for us after 9 years. He doesn't have to leave me again when I go to get him. Like he gets to stay. AND I GOT SCARED AND NERVOUS FOR SOME REASON. I guess that's normal, it's a big life changing event! It helps to think that you're going to be with the one you want to spend your life with once and for all, after going through the pain of being separated for so long. No more dreading the day you leave (or he leaves), I'm sure he can't wait for you to get here so you can start your lives together. I can't wait for my fiance to get here so I can help him begin his life here, support him while he looks for work (and beyond that too, but especially then!), and go through all the good times and bad times. Oh, and get married, that too! I bet your fiance feels the same way about having you come here, so relax! You guys get to tread through life together soon!

I am glad I am not the only one getting nervous! I am so grateful that we're only a week away but OH LAWD am I a wreck hahaha. Sleepless nights! thinking about EVERYTHING! I have not waited as long as you and your Canadian fella but I am happy that you two are finally gonna be living together after years apart :)

So my fiance called NVC - successfully today. he was asked my date of birth. so he told them this and the reply he got - you named wrong date of birth blah-blah, I can't give you information with wrong date of birth o_O My fiance is veeery angry now. Could it be that we put my date of birth incorrectly in documents or they made this mistake? We didn't get an RFE.

How can it be fixed?

He emailed the request to NVC to correct my date of birth...

That's really unfair :-( I presume you have probably explored all avenues of moving things along (senator/emailing people within USCIS). You know it is only a matter of time, but it's the uncertainty. I'm rooting for you!

Let us know as soon as you hear something, I can't wait to hear about your approval when it comes!! You and your fiancé(e) will be laughing about this in a few months time :-)

It will for sure! Just it is more and more difficult... before - we all had been waiting and I hoped for tomorrow! Now it feels as being left behind... As service centers reps are useless; Tier 2 - was useless, in my experience! NJ Senators - will see... giving them the second try!
