http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/ according to that you can say you're ready for the interview. I've read over it a million times even though we have a long wait. Let me know how long it takes to get an interview, I'm curious with London. I want things to move as quickly as possible once we get our noa2

Wanted to update you on how long it took to get the interview scheduled. Today, my fiancee received "packet 4" which was the interview appointment letter. It is scheduled for August 19. We tried to be proactive once we got the NOA2. Pestered NVC until we got the LND number. Scheduled the medical as soon as we had the number. This was while the case was still at NVC. Once CEAC said the case was "Ready", we went ahead and submitted the DS-160 and the Readiness form. This was all before she received Packet 3. Then we waited. Also, we did put down a wedding date that was sooner rather than later. Can't say whether that works or not, but interview is only 11 days away.

oh yes, sorry, I misread. I thought there's some way to sign up for NVC notifications, like when they accept the documents etc :P nevermind

The only way to find out is to keep pestering them with phone calls ;) We called every day until they logged our case in. And now at least I can use CEAC to see where it is. My OCD was running rampant in the time between using the USCIS case status website and the CEAC one, I'm an obsessive checker and had nothing to check :D

haha, spot on! Same here :D I sometimes wonder if they can see how many times we log in and then say: 'gosh, there's that crazy girl logging in for the 20th time today, get a life!' They should place bets on it  like race horses

Ok, so a little over 2 months from noa2 to interview. That's about the timeline I'm hoping for. Thanks so much for sharing:) I can only hope that tsc continues approvals as it's been cuz there's stills tiny possibility he could be here for Christmas, or at least the beginning of next year if ours moves at a similar pace. Good luck with the interview! And if you don't mind, let me know how long it takes for it it be issued! (I'll be I'm England, actually when you have yours scheduled. Not London, though)

Wait. My math skills suck lol. Less than two months. That's fantastic! Good luck again

I know this probably won't help, but it is worth mentioning that the approvals you see on Igor's List aren't indicative of TSC not approving Dec/Jan filers. There's so many people not on VJ out there, plus people on VJ that have given up on updating their timelines, or people that just haven't gotten around to updating their timelines.

Hey guys, I just got this update:

On August 9, 2014, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

I didn't change my address...anyone know what this means??

NVC recieved my case on August 8 how long before they assign my new case number??

The NVC assigned my case number the day after they received it. i remember them telling me "it takes 30 days to process" or something like that - but from what i have seen...the norm is no more than 1-2 days to assign the case number after it is received. some are assigned a case number the day it is received.

Maybe try calling them again on Monday night to see if there have been any updates.
