Not sure if you've seen this thread

There are several of us now waiting for security checks to be completed....very very frustrating....and your congressman will not be able to help you at this point.

Yes I have seen the thread, I think by now I have read every single thread. I just didn't know how many of us are affected by it. It seems most of us around our timeline have moved on. Its just a handful of us who aren't seeing any light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for sharing though

Have you contacted the CIS Ombudsman? Fill out the DHS7001

Just did. Didn't know of their existence till your post. Got an email confirmation to hear back in 45 days. Lets see. Thanks for sharing.

184 too! I'm with you guys. I just got off the phone with USCIS. I hate calling them. They wouldn't let me talk to a Tier 2. All they say is December 17. It's maddening. My patience is wearing very thin. I hope we hear soon.

Don't raise your hopes with a Tier 2. I got through and they quoted the exact same thing. so honestly I didn't find any use, instead was even more frustrated.

Just a quick rant............189 days today and nothing...................

I know I'm not the only one..................

If there are any encouraging words or things I could have missed please let me know.

Best

Richard

Hi Richard,

I joined visajourney because I know exactly how you feel!! 184 days now, and we haven't heard anything.

I have been following the receipt numbers around our receipt number, and my receipt number is one of the only ones left that hasn't been touched. All have either received an approval or RFE.

Losing all hope here, especially as I've quit my job, and moved out of my apartment. I'm now living out of two suitcases and living off of savings.

Not very encouraging words haha, but like you said you're not alone in this situation :-)

199 days is here! Everyday I hope I would get mine. Don't give up!

213 days! I win~! jkjk...you gotta laugh..otherwise you go crazy! Don't lose your hopes! our time will come!

So lets play the ranking game my friends in terms of most waiting pain endured so far.

1. Anmi - 213 days

2. monkeybobo - 199 days

3. masenko - 198 days (if I got the math right)

4. sheri&rich - 189 days

5. Laurenandcarl and nitsirk7562 (tied)- 184 days

Visa Journey folks, who wants to play the guessing game and predict who all gets it first?

This may be the worst game I have ever played, but hey giving my $0.2 to cheer all of us up.

As frustrated as I am, I agree I am going to root for Anmi also. I know at times we all have had conflicted feelings when someone ahead of us gets approved, we are happy for them and a tad bit more frustrated for ourselves. But I still cant root for myself relative to the folks who applied before me. So yes, go Anmi!

Of course, best outcome would be all of us the same day, I think then I would believe in the existence of unicorns also. :)

Guess they need to continue to make sure nobody is able to make service requests so that they can continue to be slow, behind, not have a care in the world, and not be bothered.

This game isn't fun! :P But of course, Anmi should be first! 213 days- that's ridiculous. I was very upset this morning when I posted because they were so mean on the phone, but I feel better now. I was with my fiancé last month in India so I can't complain. Oooh we should play the "how long has it been since you've seen your fiancé(e)" game while we are at it.

I might win that as my wife to be flew home yesterday after a 14 day vacation.

I might lose that game then haha....3months, 2 weeks and 2 days since I last saw my fiancé! It seems like a lifetime, especially as we don't get to skype often, but in reality it's a short time to be apart :-) And glad you feel better now nitsirk7562!!
