I am coming close to 200 days also and nothing, the congressman'a office says that our case has just moved to the background check phase and they don't know how long that's going to take. I have requested to get a sit down with the congressman where I plan to tell him this mess of a situation. I am tired of breaking down and getting back up. Another day has gone by ....

The whole immigration process is stupidly long, you'd think that they could not move at snails pace to post a bloody letter!

We have YEARS of this to come! With AOS, 2 yr GC, ROC, 10 yr GC, U.S. Citizenship (if you wish to do so).... :bonk:

Hi Richard,

I joined visajourney because I know exactly how you feel!! 184 days now, and we haven't heard anything.

I have been following the receipt numbers around our receipt number, and my receipt number is one of the only ones left that hasn't been touched. All have either received an approval or RFE.

Losing all hope here, especially as I've quit my job, and moved out of my apartment. I'm now living out of two suitcases and living off of savings.

Not very encouraging words haha, but like you said you're not alone in this situation :-)

184 too! I'm with you guys. I just got off the phone with USCIS. I hate calling them. They wouldn't let me talk to a Tier 2. All they say is December 17. It's maddening. My patience is wearing very thin. I hope we hear soon.

I am hoping to see the USCIS processing times go up to a January date when it is updated this month. Fingers crossed it's an early Jan date so that you guys can get a service request
