From what I've gathered it's about 4 months of so for the backlog at the moment. I'm a Dec 5th filer and just got approved this morning.

that's awesome! great way to start the week. :) i am happy to hear about any movement at TSC. it also gives us a better estimate of when we may see some January approvals. i'm about a month behind you (1/2 NOA1) so maybe i will hear something in early May (one can only hope... :)).

We'll do we know what files they check now? Cause here says January 23!!!! And im a January 24 ....... :) :) :) hope we ll get noa 2 soooooooooon(today) lol

You really can't go by what VJ says - the data is corrupted because a load of CSC filers record that theirs was received at TSC and then transferred (when, in fact, EVERYONE has to file to Dallas but that DOESN'T mean your service centre is Texas!)

There's also people reporting that they received their NOA1 and NOA2 on the same day (I wish!) which is artificially shortening the estimations :(

Assume that it will take 5 months, try and keep yourself busy and, if you're approved faster than that, then great!! :-D

I feel good about April/May for us January Fliers. I think TSC is almost done with November, just a few people left and they got probably halfway through December. And a few Januarys are popping up here and there. I wonder what causes some to get approved faster then others? Is it just the security check takes longer. Cause looking at the data it's like they pick a spot and go through it, with gaps in between, are those gaps for people who need further security check? there's the people who are really easy they take 2 months or so, then the medium difficult people who get through in 3-4, and then the ones that just go on all the way to the 6 month mark. I've been looking by country and UK seems to usually get fast approvals with a few long ones here and there, but not very many over the 5 month mark, so that reassuring. The randomness is the hardest. If they notified us when they looked at it or more security was needed I'd understand. Lots of speculation, no answers.

I check it about twice a day.... I am more addicted to the VJ website because I am expecting to one day log in and see a large number of january filers getting approved.

I have to stop this, today i was checking timelines for the last k1 visa approvals and so many people got approved so fast! I know That's great for them, but i am ready to start a life with my love... I wish the website could show more than initial review ?

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Are we all thinking maybe approvals will happen in May?! :clock:

I read in another thread that a VJ user called USCIS and was told by a tier 2 officer that the processing times for TSC are 6-7 months and that 5 months is wrong, then apparently the officer hung up!

Are we seeing that here, 6-7months?!

On a side note, I wish other VJ'ers would have someone explain that the lockbox facility may be in Texas but it's not TSC lol *Just because your petition is at CSC does NOT mean it was transferred!*<_< Igor's list and estimates are so whacked because of it!

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

Can my fiancee apply for a tourist Visa to visit me in the US ? I think she can but I'm afraid that what if her tourist visa application gets rejected, will it have any adverse effect on our K1 visa application ?

My thinking is if she can get a tourist visa, she can just get over here and stay with me until the Embassy calls her for the interview :P ... all this waiting will then be ... meaningless ;) ...

But the official processing time is still 5 months. I just checked again. I dont think what the officer has said its true.
