Does anyone here have not received their visa package 40 days after being told at the interview that the visa was approved, congratulations and welcome to America?

This situation is very confusing stressful and worrisome.

This situation is very confusing stressful and worrisome.

I assume no 221g was given and the passport was not returned. Have you tried contacting the embassy for any update?

No 221g, she was told to pay the delivery courier and she will receive her visa in a week however her interview was on 01/13/2014 she was called back to the embassy to sign her son's application, they took her left hand fingerprints and was told again the visa will be ready by the next week, it's been 20days since.
