Ok!! We filed AOS on September 27th. Since then, our case has been in 'acceptance' status. My wife received her EAD and AP combo card in a timely fashion, (60 days I think.) According to the USCIS website, the Cleveland field office was adjudicating petitions received on August 18th, (as of December 31st.)

When I called the 1-800 number, the tier 2 robot I spoke to said that the petition was at the NBC. Shouldn't it be in Cleveland, seeing that's where we live and will attend the interview? Our date is VERY close in my opinion.

Any light shed would be helpful. I'm sick of waiting.

Hi! We're on the same boat. We filed AOS on November 22, 2013 and is still in 'acceptance' phase. I did my biometrics and received my EAD last couple of weeks. I guess we'll just have to give them a time. USCIS doesn't always update their system. God bless! :)

Ronn, most likely you are one of the potential Interview Waiver cases. In that case, your wife's application stays at the NBC and is not being forwarded to the local office. Due to the NBC's backlog, Interview Waiver cases usually take longer than the ones who have an interview. Mine took 8 months. Good luck!

That may be the case, however, the other interview waivers that we know personally have received an interview waiver letter. We have received nothing from USCIS since NOA1 and biometrics were done. When I called today, the teir 1 girl was very nice. She seemed at least semi-knowledgable. She said they stay at Lee Summit until forwarded to the local field office for interview if it's not a waiver. She submitted a service request for us. Let's wee what they say.

Hey Ronn, how ya doing? Well you know that your married, your with your wife

and you never got and RFE so your in good standing. These processing times

seem to go on and on sometimes but you know it was the same way for the I-129F.

Be patient my friend, I am just getting ready to file the I-485 here. I took
