We filed I485 based on K1 mid December 2013. I have seen in other posts that other applicants have already done biometrics and some even have interview date setup. No action on our case so far except that they have received the file. Case was filed to Chicago office.

Reason for concern?

Have you tracked your package and confirmed it has been received by USCIS?

I have a case number and I can use it in the USCIS website to see the current status. So yes I know they received it and cashed the check

You haven't had your biometrics or fingerprinting?

Usually it's within 30 days of your application...I would call USCIS or make an infopass appointment at your nearest USCIS office.

Actually I tried to schedule infopass appointment but the system refuses to provide me applicable option. Since my case is filed, the only way I can check its status is online using the case ID sad.png((

There should be an option for just random questions...I went into the USCIS office here in Michigan before I even applied for my K1 to get some advice and info.

Also, have you tried calling USCIS? Have you moved to a different address or anything other than the one you've filed?
