NVC CASE COMPLETE FOR FEBRUARY WAITING FOR IL

Wow! That will be good news! Have you got your IL already?

No...not yet. But I'm hoping everyone waiting will get it in the coming days.

Not yet.i received their email mostly in my inbox not on my spam mail. But ill try to check it today. Thanks for letting me know :))

If you haven't got any cc email yet, I think you have to call again and ask them why. I actually didn't call so I'm not certain when was my case was actully completed...(I got negative thoughts that I might get another checklist....hahaha!) ..and then the cc mail came!!!

But anyways, ILs are coming out. Sooo excited!

Except for the passport,birth cert,marriage cert and photograph.

I only have a personal copy of unexpired police certificate.

Guys, id like to ask another question. Im turning 21 on April 6th, i called the NVC to ask if there was a problem if they come to schedule my interview for a date AFTER my birthday. They said i dont need to worry, because i started the whole process under 21 years of age, so it doesnt matter if i turn 21 before the interview. To make sure, i called them two times in different days and they gave me the same answer. But, when i go the website (travel.state.gov) its written there that i have to notify the NVC if im turning 21 soon so that they can expedite my interview, because if i dont my visa category could change...

Here in Brazil is carnival right now so ill have to wait until thursday to try and contact the local Consulate or Embassy to see if they can give me some more information...

Have u guys ever heard about anything like this?

05/22/2015 - Passport arrived

Karinacruzz dont be worried with your situation. I was petitioned under family based petition of green card holders with 21 y/o children and under. I had my interview last Oct2011 and i was 23y/o by then and was petitioned Jan2009 so was 20y/o and 6mos. What saved me was they had this Child protection Act where in if you are petitioned before youre 21 then youll be saved with this new law they currently have.it may not sound convincing. But i am a living example of this act :)) so dont worry.

My PD is 09.09.12 but I thing it is not relevant to my PD. I just call them and the lady sad ''Your case is still waiting for interview date to schedule.
