This is brought to you by someone who has no understanding of guns. Put new tech on a S&W 41? made in the 50's and 60's.. Take a $5000 unique firearm and make it worth $50. by modification.

What about just new ones?

It's sad to think that guns could eventually be smarter than most of their owners, if that's not the case already.

The technology will happen, there's no doubt about that. The problem in instituting it will be the usual stumbling blocks of the NRA and the 2nd amendment. It's too bad because it could save a lot of lives. But as I've come to realize, lives are secondary when it comes to the gun aficionados.

The proof is right here on VJ. laughing.gif

(In response to monkeys using guns - disparaging to VJ gun owners)

The love affair between Americans and their guns is bizarre to say the least.

So what people say about the gun being an extension of the ####### is true?

There is definitely a direct correlation between gun aficionados, ####### size and iq.

Really? Which comments that I made about guns specifically?

Those. And I apologise for lumping you and novembro in the same category, your comments are quite different from his.

For the record, though I think your disdain of guns is very different from the feelings most gun aficianados have, I agree with you 100% that it would be a great day for the US if gun deaths were drastically cut.

I still prefer smart owners over dumb owners with smart guns.

Smart, responsible gun owners like yourself appear to be a dying breed Spooky.

The smart gun concept would go along way to curbing illegal gun trade and saving many lives.

So what's your feeling on women using dildoes?

Since this is the new, family friendly VJ, we aren't allowed to talk about dildos anymore. Family friendly people don't use dildos. Various sexual acts are not for pleasure here anymore. In fact, I believe that VJ currently is anti-sex. If necessary, I will have to post another pic of a cute wittle bunny wabbit to calm things down again.

It's a shame some use inanimate objects to make them feel more like men.

blink.png What does that have to do with anything?

I was replying to LIB's comment about how collecting guns is manly.

No, you were trying to disparage male gun owners by insinuating that they need guns to make them feel more manly. That's sexist. Made about as much sense as the ####### parallel I was drawing. I doubt any women "needs one to make her feel more womanly". Yet sales of those inanimate objects continues to soar.

Serious question, why would someone dealing in illegal guns obey the new law if they don't obey the current law? And even if every gun sold from today forward was a smart gun, what about the other 300 million out there? I don't think that a recall is going to work like it does for the automotive industry. Just a thought.

No. I was not. You don't like when people put words in your mouth, so don't put words in mine.

I was responding to LIB's comment about how collecting guns is manly. Novembro said that they collect Legos or something and LIB made a disparaging remark about how Brits like to collect "less manly" things than Americans.

I said it's sad when someone would use any inanimate object to make them feel more manly.

Please pay attention before trying to tell me what I'm talking about.

What about just new ones?

The big question is can it be fired if you need it at a critical moment. Does it run on a battery? Batteries fail Will it require me to have 2 guns in the house.. One for myself and one for my wife ?What kind of cost would there be and .could you CC it . If not are you willing to permit open carry?.. Is it EMP proof? Will it work at -30 or 110F''' Who will pick up the cost to repair it and who is able to repair this?We all know how good computers work.

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

No apologies necessary. Novembro is a chick.

Those comments you quoted aren't really about guns, they are about the ignorance and foolish comments made by the VJ resident gun aficionados. And the reason why we call them aficionados is because we are no longer allowed to call them gun nuts. So the word aficionado is not meant to be a compliment, it has nothing to do with their knowledge of guns.

I'm not sure which posts of mine you refer to when you say I have a disdain for guns, I simply don't. I'm in favor of the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms, and have stated that here numerous times, but I want to see it more tightly regulated. The only thing I have disdain for in regards to guns is the foolishness on display here by the so called gun aficionados. There are a few responsible and rational gun owners here, but mostly not. It's crazy to see just how much in love some folks are with a weapon whose main purpose is to kill.

Will your wabbit pic be one that rotates and vibrates? Or like you posted earlier, all soft and fuzzy? Cuz I didn't notice your fuzzy wabbit working. Just sayin'...
