Hello everyone!

My fiance and I are planning to get married in October, if everything works out fine with the visa :) We always talk about the honeymoon and try to figure out where to choose, but there are plenty of options!

We both try to stay low on our budget, but we also want a nice holiday, we think we deserve it after all the waiting ;)

So where did you choose to go? How was your experience? Do you have any tips or suggestions? I'd love to know!

Thanks in advance!

We bought a house instead of going on a honeymoon, but that doesn't mean I didn't still want to go.

Hopefully in the near future, we can take a holiday. I want to go to Greece, but he says no (took an ex there once blah blah blah). Though after this MN winter, I am dying to go somewhere with a beach and an all-you-can-drink bar in the seaside hotel.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Cancun, Riviera Maya Mexico are excellent places for all-inclusive resorts holiday. We like the adults only resorts to avoid screaming kids running around.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Greece is an excellent choice if you are budget minded - so is the Philippines. Both options have what you are looking for.

We haven't decided yet, not married yet. I was thinking Hawaii - only because my fiance will not be able to travel outside the States when we get married. Otherwise I'd choose Venice, Italy - one of the most romantic places in the world I have visited. Great food, great wine, beautiful atmosphere.

We went to the Florida Keys. We got married late last October (and live in Chicago), so we wanted to go somewhere tropical together. Since he came on a K1 and we wanted to honeymoon immediately after the wedding, we had to stay stateside. It was sunny, warm, and the most caribbean America gets!

Don't underestimate the crucial importance of the above. Countless wonderful places within the lower 48, Hawaii, & Alaska.

Been down there a few times and agree about the adult resorts. I stayed once at a family one and the kids had me ready to leave the first day.
