Don't give up hope brother.....She may realize how serious the K1 petition is. Sadly her Visa will expire within 90 days and afterwards if she is still here in the United States after 90 days, she can be confined tempted by Legal Actions for the rest of her life if she tried to come back to the United States or she will never be able to enter again even on a tour visa. It will pose red flags witht he USCIS due to her actions. I hope you take care of yourself and just give it time. she may or may not come back but for what its worth, you have to be strong.

A story for people who think they can lie their way in to the US.

I recently had a neighbor who was renting a room to a Filipina girl next door to where I live. I never paid much attention but I would often see her outside with her Filipino boyfriend. He did not live there but was with her often and it was noticeable they were a couple.

The neighbor lost his house to the bank and they all moved out one day. Weeks later I had a knock at my front door and it was two men in suits who showed their badges and identified themselves as imigration officers.

They wanted to ask me some questions about my neighbor who used to live next door. They opened a binder and showed me a photo of the Filipina girl. I said yes she used to live next door but recently moved out. Then they showed me a photo of the Filipino boyfriend. I said I have seen that guy with her daily but he did not live there. I told them that I suspected it was her boyfriend or something because I would see them hugging and kissing outside. Then they showed me a third photo of a middle aged white guy who I have never seen before. I told them I have never seen him. I asked them what they were investigating and they said the Filipino guy in the photo was her husband in the Philippines and they were supposed to be divorced. He was here illegally and they were looking for him also.

A week later I received another knock on my door and it was the Filipina girl with some white guy I have never seen before. #######? I have never met her or spoke to her before but only saw her outside many times. I was surprised that she knew I was the one the police talked to.

She was overly nice and introduced herself and then introduced the white guy as her husband. She was going on and on about her visa situation and bla bla bla. I nicely but firmly stopped her from talking. I told her that two federal imigration officers came to my house and showed me her photo and asked if I knew her. I said yes she lived next door. Then I told her how they showed me a photo of her Filipino boyfriend. I said you know the little guy your always with?? Her eyes got big. Then I told her they showed me a photo of a middle aged white guy who Ive never seen before. I looked at the guy standing behind her and I said I guess that was you ha??

She asked me to write a letter stating that I was wrong in what I said to the officers. #######? No I don't know you and I hope the best for you but im not going to lie to a federal officer. She tried to get the white guy to talk to me and I again said im not interested in their personal situation.

I asked them to leave and not bother me again. The old neighbor who rented a room to the girl even came knocking on my door a few days later begging me to tell the immigration officers I made a mistake. I told him I was going to call the police if any of them ever bothered me again.

Im not sure whatever happened to them but I sure wasn't going to lie to federal officers.

I bet both of them were getting deported hence the desperation. You did the right thing. I have no sympathy for scammers.

it is normal for couples to have problems and arguments after all life is not sweet all the time and hard times are what give us more experience in life and drive us to evolve, adapt, and avoid getting in trouble in the future, near or far.

consider one thing to start with, coming to a different country for the first time especially north america( because of the diversity and contrast of the sub-cultures) could add more stress on people aside from being homesick and miss family and friends. so after living in a country with a unified ethnic and cultural tone that every single member of the society looks and behaves and talks similarly like the others (to a certain degree) you come to a country like the US or Canada where you find us a great mixture of the global cultures (and that what makes us unique and beautiful) you may get what is known as cultural shock, and not necessary in a bad way, but it is the struggle to understand such culture and trying to adapt and create a spot for yourself to fit in a tiny crevice in the society to call it your own, add to this the homesickness and thinking about the transition. All that makes a person stressed.

I don't think she used you to get in the states as if she wanted she could have waited to finish the process of sponsorship first then get divorced and be on her own. I think its a matter of misunderstanding along with culture shock and home sickness. I suggest give her some time and give yourself also sometime, neither of you pressure the other and if it is meant to be it will be no matter what. after all take good care of yourself and think ahead about tomorrow. about the sponsorship you don't have to do anything as long as you are not married yet, and if it didn't work between you both you may have to inform the immigration about the changes that happened and after all you are nor responsible for anything.

good luck

I am so sorry this happened to you! I hope you feel better very soon and meet a lady who deserves you, but first take some time for yourself to get over this traumatic event. What happened to you is indeed very traumatic. "What goes around come saround" Karma will bite this *itch in the a$$! (pardon my French)

I also agree with the gentleman saying that it is mostly people from the Philippines...ccc....

Dear friends,

After a long year of waiting, my Fiance arrived and broke up with me.

She is now in the wind and not answering my texts. She's staying with her friend whom i do not know.

How do I put myself in the clear? Whom do i contact to notify that she is not getting married to me?

I am heartbroken, in a trillion pieces and every horrible adjective to describe my crushed heart.

Thanks for all of your help throughout 2013.

Sorry about your situation but...

Please give some feedback about your relationship and how it came to be that she ran off and wont answer your text?

Was she with you for 2-months or 2-days here in US before she vanished?

How many times did you visit her in her country and did you meet her family and spend extended time with her?

All of these things make a difference on both sides to establish a true relationship before you decide to marry someone halfway across the world.

Im not trying to sound cold to the situation but since you created the thread why don't you fill us all in a bit.

I hope this ""hurt"" that you feel, turns to scorn, and you ""PLEASE KNOW THIS, THIS WOMAN IS GOING TO TRY TO COME BACK TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!""""""""""".,.,.,,. she has no choice!

I have been seeing plenty of this, from some Filipino women, and my wife is from Cebu, but we are happily married, but there seems to be too many stories of this kind, on this site, it would have crushed me, no doubt! No, I cannot say I know how you feel, but, I have an idea.,., """PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN HOOK YOU AGAIN, AND STAB YOU IN THE BACK AGAIN..,.,.,,.,YES, SHE IS COMING BACK, NO DOUBT, BE READY FOR IT!""""""""""""""""""""""""

Sorry to hear that.

Fortunately for you, she cannot adjust status in any way up to an including marrying someone else, it can only be adjusted by marrying the original petitioner. Once the I-94 expires she'll be out of status with no recourse. She will contact you again, but whatever you do do not take her back and get married. Inform USCIS of what's occurred in writing, and if you find out where she is, you can let them know that as well.

If you want to really teach her and have money to burn, since she obviously doesn't know how to pull off this visa fraud thing well, when she does contact you again, tell her you want to go to some country nowhere near her home one to get married. Give her a little of the ol' razzle dazzle at the airport and leave her there, and hop on the next returning flight to the US yourself. Even if she manages to get a flight back to the US herself, she'll be turned away at the border.

Or maybe I'm just a particularly evil person. I've made peace with that though.

LMFAO.... You got me cracking up Avery. It's kind of evil but it would be a great lesson to teach her.
