Hi VJ,

Here's the situatino.

My wife's temporary GC expires in May 14.

I sent in the I-751 in Feb 14 (a few weeks ago); and we're planning on travelling abroad for a few months--will stay abroad over the expiration date on the two-year GC.

So my question is, will my wife be able to get back to the US with the NOA1 and her expired GC. Assuming that the NOA1 extends your residency for another year.

Thanks.

Yes, she will be able to get back in with expired GC and NOA1.

Do you have the NOA1 in hand? I received the NOA1 in 7 days including the weekend after I mailed in my i-751 using regular USPS mail.
