You very rarely hear white youths be described as 'thugs' though, to be honest. You can shoot up a school full of kids and nobody calls you a thug if you're white. Listen to rap music too loud and you're a thug.

But in all fairness, the word thug was promoted by blacks to describe a certain predominately black lifestyle

Here's a comparison. Richard Sherman was called a thug for what he said. Michael Grimm, the politician who threatened to throw that reported off the balcony wasn't called anything. He said he was going to break that dude in half, much more violent that anything Sherman said, yet he was never called a thug.

Yep, and when black kids wear caps and listen to rap music, that's what they're called. Justin Beiber has been running around acting that that for a hot minute, why hasn't anyone called him a thug yet?

Read NB's comment about black men and crime. That's the root. Even if there is no evidence, there's always that chance they could grow up to be criminals.

So if 85% of violent crime in my area is committed by young black men and .00000002 by Middle aged white women driving an SUV, in your world I am supposed to take assume the odds of either of them harming are the same

That's just does not even make sense. No body is saying all black people are bad or even a vast majority of them are. However when I see a young black male with his pants failing off his butt, with gold teeth, bandannas and covered in tats and dreds, then he has made decision to emulate a certain life style or at least give the appearance that he wants to be part of a certain life style.

Back in the day, when a white dude had long hair, bell bottoms, and drove a VW with a peace sign on it. Darn good odds he would roll a joint with you. Not always but in most cases yes.

If I see a biker with a Patch that says Outlaws MC. Guess what . He ain't taking my daughter to the prom, because he has choose to identify to the world as part of a culture that is violent and criminal.

If a see a middle aged white man with a priest collar on I am safe to assume that..wait never mind anyway you get the point. You are what you present to the world you are.

I see a young well groomed black kid that does not say MF every other word and does not dress like Tupac. Guess what. His race does not even register.

If you wish to call him a Thug, cool by me but if you were totally honest you would admit, if someone describe someone as a Thug, you know the first thing that would pop in your head and it would not be Dunn.

Filipina's are evil. My wife goes to Walmart after a major holiday, to buy boatloads of candy at 50-90% off, for the Balikbayan box. Then she gradually starts breaking it out, and in the Filipino way, anytime she has something to eat, she must offer to share it. Now, things with the heads still on and the eyes staring back at you, I can resist, no problem. Candy is another story, even if it is just a piece or two or three...no wonder we are both borderline diabetics.

We are going around mid to late April. Sent the Pasalubong now. Darn lugging all that ####### in suitcases.

Don't play with your "Sugar" as we call it here. Nothing like exercise to lower it. I got way off track with diet and exercise. Had to add another med. Metformin loses effectiveness after a while, but 1 hour on an elliptical will drop it in the 80's
